“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”

About me

You’ll be working with me, a Psychotherapist, registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, and with eight years of experience supporting adult individuals and couples. The approach to therapy is grounded in a collaborative and evolving experiential process the relationships you have with yourself and with your partner.

Therapy is offered through a compassionate, non-judgmental lens that recognizes the impact of broader systems such as racism, sexism, heterosexism, ableism, and other forms of oppression. Your experiences are understood not only personally, but also within the larger context of your life.

The work is primarily grounded in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as trauma-informed and grief-focused approaches, which may inform the work where appropriate. Additional training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Ongoing professional development and training ensure that the support you receive is current, thoughtful, and responsive to your needs.
